Message to all Tirayans
The Tigray Interim Administration has declared a three-day mourning period to honor the heroes and heroines of Tigray who paid the ultimate price in defending the people of Tigray during the two-year genocidal war.
The declared mourning period will begin on October 13, 2023, and shall run through October 16, 2023. As this honorable period is to be observed concurrently all over the world by all Tigrayans, the Union of Tigrayans in North America (UTNA) is organizing a Mourning Event to be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in Washington, DC. This event is organized to bring all Tigrayans near and afar together to honor the martyred heroes and heroines of Tigray.
UTNA extends its invitation to all Tigrayans, Tigrayan organizations and media to join hands and make our mourning event memorable comforting to the people of Tigray.
