UTNA Condemns the wicked maneuverings of the Ministry of Education of Ethiopia:
Union of Tigreans in North America (UTNA), a US based non-profit member organization, condemns in the strongest term possible the uncalled provocative behavior of the Ministry of Education of Ethiopia.
The Ministry of Education of Ethiopia which is led by the archenemy of the people Tigray, has listed the schools located in the sovereign territory of Tigray as schools of the Amhara Region, in violation of the Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (F.D.R.E.).
This action cannot be otherwise other than a deliberate conspiracy of the Minister of Education, working under the instructions of the Eritrean regime and the expansionist Amhara elite, aimed at undermining the territorial integrity of Tigray and the Pretoria Cessation of Hostilities Agreement (CoHA).
We call on the Federal Government of Ethiopia and the Ethiopian House of People’s Representatives to correct this wicked action and hold the Minister accountable for violating the oath of office he took in front of the house of Representatives to uphold and protect the Constitution of FDRE.
We also call on all Tigrean diaspora to condemn this action and educate their respective governments and representatives of this wicked maneuvers and its dangerous consequences.
Lastly, we praise the quick reaction of the Interim Regional Administration of Tigray, and we reaffirm that UTNA shall always stand by its side in its fight against the archenemies of Tigray.
